Who we are

Walking and hiking possibilities are unlimited, with trails in the rugged hills offering everything from a gentle stroll to energetic all-day outings. When winter arrives the trails are ideal for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.A must is a visit to the hilltop buffalo jump where, during the great hunts of yesteryear, stampeding herds plummeted to their deaths. In places you can still see remnants of the historical Carlton Trail which, during the days of the fur trade and opening of the west, provided a link between Winnipeg and Edmonton.
